The course :
Join us in the heart of the historic center of Bordeaux at the charming Place Raymond Colom, the ideal meeting point to start this magnificent bike ride.
On the agenda: Discovering Bordeaux together in a convivial atmosphere, lots of smiles and well-being.
Once equiped, ready for the adventure ahead, we will make our way towards the oldest door of Bordeaux, the Grosse Cloche (also known as the “Big Bell”) dating from the 13th century. Then we shall cross the Saint-Michel district, famous for its local market before quickly reaching the magnificent Pont de Pierre bridge to cross the Garonne river. This trajectory offers us a unique view of the “Port of the Moon” and its majestic facade dating from the 18th century. This will be the perfect moment to share with you the history of Bordeaux over the centuries.
We will stroll along the Parc des Angéliques (“Angelic Park”) and across the Garonne river via the impressive Jacques Chaban-Delmas Bridge to explore some of the city’s most important sites. We will discover the Chartrons district, the historical heart of the wine trade in Bordeaux, which is famous for its wine cellars.
We will resume our stroll along the charming Notre Dame Street. We’ll head for the beautiful Jardin Public (“Public Gardens”) and then the historic center, passing by the Quinconces esplanade and its monument dedicated to the Girondins, the Triangle d’or (“The Golden Triangle”), City Hall and the Saint-André Cathedral. Then we will go through the cobbled streets, pretty plazas (always animated thanks to their cafés!), and finally we will pass in front of the world famous Miroir D’eau (“Water Mirror”) before going to admire the second oldest city gate of Bordeaux and returning to our starting point.

Go for this personal tour of Bordeaux. I’ve done a lot of city bike tours. For me this 3 hour tour of Bordeaux was easily the best. The guide is the business owner so his success is personal. The route was great and the pace just right. He gave us a lot of the history of Bordeaux without overwhelming us with facts. Go for the personal tour! and THANK YOU.

Great bike tour! A really brilliant bike tour of Bordeaux! Our guide was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and helped us get to know the city through lots of interesting and fascinating facts. Riding with Jean-Christophe Malige Saturday morning bike tour led by the brilliant Jean-Christophe Malige owner of @bordeauxbiketour. For 3 hours we toured historical sites of left bank in Bordeaux, crossed 2 bridges and rode through the redevelopment of the right bank. This was one of the best bike tours we've done and we are so glad it was led by a native Jean-Christophe!

Great bike tour This was so much fun. Our guide Jean-Christophe was great, leading us around Bordeaux on our cruiser bikes. It’s an extensive but pretty flat route, taking in an extensive amount of the city in 2.5 hours at a pretty relaxed pace. We got a great overview of the city which enabled us to work out what to visit in more depth over the next couple of days. Highly recommended.

Great introduction to Bordeaux I was only in Bordeaux for a couple of days, so this was a great way to see all the main attractions before deciding which ones to revisit. Jean-Christophe was an excellent guide and it was wonderful to get an insight into culture and history from someone who is so knowledgeable and who obviously loves his city and his job.

Must Do Bike Tour when in Bordeaux We totally recommend booking a bike tour with JC!! Don’t think twice, just book it, you won’t regret it! JC has been living in Bordeaux for over 50 years, so he knows the city inside and out. We absolutely loved seeing Bordeaux through his eyes. The tour felt authentic, personal, and relaxed, definitely not your typical tourist tour with a standard script. He took his time, never rushed us, and shared so many stories and little details that made the experience really special. The bikes were in perfect condition too! Great way to see Bordeaux An excellent way to see the city. Bordeaux is very cycle friendly. Jean -Christophe was a great guide - very informative and clearly very proud of his city. He brought us on an interesting route, showing us both new and old Bordeaux. He was also incredibly accommodating with friends who missed a flight and had to reschedule. Highly recommend.

Bike tour with Jean- Christophe is the best!! Always best to check out a new city on bike! This bike tour was amazing. We got to see the entire city and were not rushed at all. Jean-Christophe was a great guide. Very safe and made sure the pack stayed together. The bikes were very comfortable and the gears easy to shift. Highly recommend the tour with JC!
